John and Bekkah met in 2010 at Florida State University.  After many months of waiting and wondering, John asked Bekkah to be his Valentine in 2011.  Since then, they graduated with their Master’s in Social Work in April 2012 and have traveled to Ireland and Taiwan together.  They have read all seven Harry Potter books aloud to each other…without voices (except for Dobby and Hagrid).  They will pick any fruit and then John will make one of his world famous pies out of it (Bekkah’s favorite is muscadine pie).  Bekkah and John have biked around the largest lake in Florida together, love to canoe, and will travel great distances for friends and family.  Every day is an adventure.  On May 31 John asked Bekkah to go on the adventure of a lifetime with him.  On January 17, 2015 the adventure begins.
